Darkness and water as judgement, and chaos. in the creation we see God pre-picturing the “finished,” and “not yet,” aspect of all creation. why did God leave both at the creation?

Interesting that I’ve come up against the idea of “the powers of darkness,” multiple times over the past few days. have you ever wondered why those who look for spirits (which I consider to be those spirits which are antithetical to God) at night and in the dark? Is this an innate understanding we have of the “power of darkness?”
