The value one places on his own life will not necessarily impact the ferocity, nor the reckless abandon with which they will fight, but it will impact the trigger-point, that tripwire circumstance, that leads him to fight with such ferocity. For one who cares nothing for their life, the accomplishment of their goal (harm to others) is paramount, and where that fails; death. For one who values his life, the accomplishment of his goal (preservation of his life) is paramount, and where that fails; death.
