I think the time has come to really,…really, slow down on my drawings. I’m feeling as close to giving up as I ever have since beginning this endeavor. I actually think I need to take some if the emphasis off productivity, (though it has been the driving force since I began) and instead focus on super-accurate measurements, coupled with selectively-stylized line work. I feel I should really simplify and stylize the female face.

I should purposely lengthen the amount of time for each drawing from two days to 3 days. On the first day, I really need to get into my head, and stay there, focusing in process and technique. My lines get too dark, too quick. I must focus (especially on day one) on barely laying any graphite down.
