What I learned	—Western Civilization Read an overview of the Greek city-state, or the polis, and compared and contrasted two very different poleis, Athens and Sparta. Java** Read about the Math class and many of its methods, method abstraction, and step-wise refinement as a way to problem solve large programming projects. This involves top-down design, bottom-up implementation, and creating stubs for your methods.
Other Notable Events/Thoughts	Lots of “busy work” today as I did the money, ran some errands, cleaned the house, and organized the week’s collected articles (from RSS) in the computer. I plan on reading my Java book after the boys are in bed, but we’ll see. I also drew for about 30 min., but as I suspected, I need a break from drawing to refocus, because nothing came out correctly, and after 30 min. I had to erase the whole thing, so I’m left with nothing to show for the time I spent. Part of it is because I need some time off of drawing, but really, I’m very worried about Andrea. She texted that she is getting another ocular migraine. She has has an abnormal amount of headaches lately, and I’m very concerned.
