37 min. Traumatized over the abysmal failure that my last drawing was, I’ve found it difficult to pick my pencil back up again. I actually had to flip the sketchbook page, leaving a blank sheet between that horror, and the new sketch. I would honestly tear it out, but on the back of it, I am fairly happy with the way I drew the girl’s jeans, and so,…it remains. Hopefully this one will turn out a little better.

I still think, the real problem here is the lack of good reference. There are no strong, directional lights, there is no good definition, all of the pictures are “selfies,” and so, of necessity, are taken from above, throwing off the perspective, and the lens on the iPhone camera distorts, horribly.
