Did I work today?Yes
I worked onUpdated the New Materials Lists in Sierra, and updated the Explore section using the recently created web app. I discovered a slight discrepancy between what is being returned from Sierra’s Create Lists, and the web app. I suspect this has to do with me having to recreate the Sierra query within the Sierra Desktop App a couple weeks ago when the search we had been using, disappeared for some unknown reason. The simplest fix may just be to re-copy the new sequel from Sierra DB.
Did I relax?No
What I learned—Math** the addition method of solving linear systems. Western Civilization Read about the Portuguese and Spanish exploration that began in the 1400’s, and began to read about how Northern Europe followed-suit, later. Java began implementing event listeners on my GUI, and began to transition from the midterm version of the underlying code, to the final version of the same. Now going into bedroom to read about Operating Systems, specifically Modern Windows versions. I did manage to install FreeDOS in a virtual machine last night, and play around with the command line a little bit. Its just like the cli in linux or Mac, just different commands.
Other Notable Events/ThoughtsVery down in the dumps today. No real reason for it, except, perhaps, the difficulty in advancement with Java, that ate up most of the day. Also spent a lot longer than I should have clearing space, and deleting applications that I don’t really use. However, the fruits of that labor are evident since I went from 40GB free to just under 80GB free.
