While handrail was cutting my hair, I had an idea for an app. An app called “I need a,…” that borrows from Über’s business model, of people contacting other people for a service. Only instead of driving, it could be for any service. They have would have two sides a person searching for something, and a person excepting the job.

And now,…as I think about it, it sounds a lot like TaskRabbit. I don’t know a lot about TaskRabbit or its business model, but I think the only thing that might differentiate an app like this from TaskRabbit, would be the decentralization of power, and so, much more rapid expansion into new markets.
