Will classical or rock music help mice get through a maze faster?
Hypothesis #
I hypothesize that music will have no effect on how quickly the mice get through the maze.
Testing Methods #
Three different mice were run through the maze a total of 5 times each.
- The first time they ran through with no music at all to get a baseline time as a control group
- Then, they ran through the maze while listening to rock music twice
- One time the microphone was positioned at the end of the maze
- One time the microphone was positioned at the beginning of the maze
- Last, the mice ran through the maze while listening to Classical music
- One time the microphone was positioned at the end of the maze
- One time the microphone was positioned at the beginning of the maze
Bait was used to lure the mice to the end of the maze.
